-The rear bumper was re-plated to show condition but a small chip happened near one of the bumper bolts.. -All the chrome that was not NOS has been re-plated & is in show condition except for the convertible snap trim which was re-plated but not a very good job. One of the front fenders may have been replaced at one time but it had no rust.-There have been several updates such as:Power disc brakes frontAlternatorFord Thompson power steering pump (the original Eaton pumps usually leak)Pertronix electronic ignition-The stainless on the car was mostly NOS with some pieces being restored

Also there seems to be an issue with the wiring on the battery terminal it doesn't crank sometimes then cranks as soon as I wiggle the wires a bit. It was used as the every day vehicle a couple years back but has been put up in storage sense. The door jambs have not been painted the trim has been taken off and is inside the vehicle

1969 pontiac firebird 400 automatic, power steering, power brakes, disc front brakes, and tilt wheel. This is a very clean rust free body, excellent running and driving car. All gauges in the car work and are accurate except for the clock which recently quit. Very clean engine bay with griffin aluminum radiator with shroud and electric fan. Interior of the car is in excellent condition as well and very clean. The paint is base/clear carousel red in very nice driver quality condition with a very straight body. This is a very clean car all around that runs, stops, steers, and drives excellent. A nice muscle car that is ready to cruise or show, pictures speak for themselves. Very rare car to be sold "as is". Great for a project or parts. It's part of an inherited estate. Unfortunately, it has been stored outside for a number of years, and the condition isn't great. Unsure if vehicle was running when purchased by previous owner. The engine isn't locked up, as i was able to use a hand wrench to turn the pulleys. Oil is still in the crankcase. Windshield has no cracks. It was published february 4, 2013.

car shifts smooth, newer brakes, Engine ran great until a cracked fuel filter causes a fire melting the wires in the engine compartment. Fuel door in pics missing but I have a replacement for it.. No damage to the engine or paint

There is no place on ebay for a bonded title so the vehicle was listed as rebuildable since the car needs restoration. This will run about 2 to 3 hundred dollars. The vin has been run by to police and is not reported stolen nationally. The vehicle was never registered in texas when it came from california. Found in the pahhandle of texas with the license plate still on from california and a windshield sticker from long beach. The car is mostly original and does run, drive and stop but is not roadworthy. Is is running from the gas tank and not bottle fed but is a project. A new fuel pump and some fresh gas was all it needed to run again. I have two videos of the car running and driving i can text. Headliner even matches the seats. Still equipped as it came from the factory with the 235 ci 6 cylinder and power glide transmission. All the stainless trim is with the car except for one piece that goes on the drivers door and is in very nice shape as shown in the pictures. The stainless hardtop window flappers are on the car and work properly. At some point a nomad/wagon rear bumper has been added as noted by the flat surface where the rear license plate is mounted.. The carpet was removed from the car to show any rust issues. The car does have rust in the passenger floor board and door sill area. There is rust and filler in the passenger side in front of the rear wheel (this is shown in the last two pictures). The trunk is very solid except for some very small holes by the trunk latch. All of these areas are shown well in the pictures. The car comes with a bill of sale only... The vin is c55s126900 which indicates it to be a belair 6 cylinder built in st. Lewis assembly plant body style tag 1037d identifies it as a sport coupe. The rest of the tag is broke off but the trunk of the car is india ivory and the door jams are gypsy red. 2 door hardtops are hard enough to find these days but especially one as complete as this one. Almost every item and piece of trim is there as shown in the pictures. Please keep in mind, this is a barn find. It does run, stop and drive but is not roadworthy.

The car is powered by a 6. 75 l rolls royce fuel injected v 8. It is one of the longest lived engines still in production. The car has 76426 miles. Overall condition is really nice and it is a head turner. Nutmeg over ivory, 2 owner, outstanding overall condition, all accessories function, climate control works perfectly, ice cold ac and heat. Interior is in great condition no rips or tears, wood is in good condition, with minimal wear. Mechanically engine is in outstanding condition, brake system is outstanding, all fluids have been serviced and braking and hydraulic system have been checked and function perfectly. Gas springs in the rear are brand new and the hydraulic ride system is factory correct order. Climate Control✔ Air Conditioning
